1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Sovran RP, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use the service. Sovran RP is operated under the name Sovran RP.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Sovran RP after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use Sovran RP. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We reserve the right to terminate accounts found to be held by players under this age.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others or allow others to access Sovran RP using your account.

Each player may hold one account only. Creating multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage, circumvent a ban, or manipulate game mechanics is prohibited and may result in all associated accounts being permanently suspended.

Your username must not impersonate another person, contain offensive language, or violate any applicable law. We reserve the right to require a username change or suspend an account where a username breaches these requirements.

4. Game Rules and Conduct

Sovran RP is a political and social roleplay game. All players are expected to engage with the game and with other players in good faith. The following conduct is prohibited:

• Exploiting bugs, glitches, or unintended game mechanics for personal gain
• Using automation, bots, or scripts to interact with the game
• Harassing, threatening, or abusing other players
• Coordinating with other players in ways that constitute real-money trading or account selling
• Attempting to manipulate game systems in ways that undermine the integrity of the game world
• Sharing false or misleading information about the game or its operators

In-game political conflict, competition, and strategic deception are core parts of the game and are not considered misconduct when conducted within the game's mechanics.

5. In-Game Currency

The Sovra (SVR) is Sovran RP's in-game currency. It exists solely within the game world and has no real-world monetary value. You may not sell, trade, or transfer Sovra or any other in-game assets for real money or real-world goods and services.

In-game currency and assets remain the property of Sovran RP at all times. We reserve the right to adjust, correct, or remove in-game currency or assets where they have been obtained through exploitation or in breach of these terms.

6. Characters and Game State

Characters in Sovran RP are subject to the game's mechanics including the lifeline system, which means characters will eventually die as part of normal gameplay. Character death is a designed feature of the game, not a malfunction, and does not entitle you to any compensation or restoration.

We do not guarantee the availability of any particular game state, character position, or in-game achievement. The game world may be reset, modified, or adjusted at our discretion, particularly during Alpha and Beta periods.

7. Alpha and Beta Access

During Alpha and Beta phases, Sovran RP is a work in progress. You may encounter bugs, incomplete features, or unexpected behaviour. We may reset game data, modify game mechanics, or take the service offline without notice during these periods.

Access during Alpha and Beta is provided for testing and feedback purposes. Participation does not create any entitlement to continued access, preserved game state, or any form of compensation.

8. Intellectual Property

All content in Sovran RP - including but not limited to the game design, artwork, text, mechanics, and world lore - is the property of Sovran RP. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our explicit written permission.

You retain ownership of any creative content you contribute to the game, such as character backstories or forum posts, but grant Sovran RP a non-exclusive licence to display and use that content within the game and its associated platforms.

9. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account that violates these terms, engages in conduct harmful to other players or the game, or for any other reason at our discretion. We will endeavour to notify you where possible, but are not obligated to do so in cases of serious breach.

You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us at support@sovranrp.com.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Sovran RP is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the availability, reliability, or fitness of the service for any particular purpose. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the game.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sovran RP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including loss of in-game progress, currency, or character status.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising from your use of Sovran RP will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts applicable to the operator of Sovran RP.
